Review From User :
the fact that there are no directives about fasting in the NT is eye-opening as it stands. but Hagin goes into more detail about fasting that is really informative and helpful. it's really something you do as you are led to by the Spirit or you do it for only a couple of reasons: to be more sensitive to the Holy Spirit or to minister to the Lord. you can't make God do something through fasting. and fasting should never be something you do for piety's sake--which i think most christians nowadays fall into this latter category. fasting is simply spending time with God instead of eating. sometimes that's on purpose, other time's you just get caught up in his presence that you skip a meal. fasting.
i also never knew there was so much grace in Hagin's teachings--or in fasting in general. it's awesome.
