Review From User :
I found this book to be refreshingly practical. While I love John Piper, a lot of his books can stay very spiritual and theological (which isn't always bad), but When I Don't Desire God dishes out ultra-practical advice on getting out of spiritual ruts and seasons of spiritual dryness: Including tips for memorizing scripture, helpful ways to pray through the Bible, and the importance of our physical fitness/health. It takes a while to get through (like most Piper books I've read), but it is definitely worth it if you're looking for practical guidance in finding joy in God again.
