! Sugar Baby Beautiful (stand-alone). LIGHTS - CAMERA - ACTION! Young waitress is swept off her feet by Hollywood royalty, until she takes off running.
Sugar Baby Beautiful (stand-alone) opens up to waitress and call center operator Felicity Harper being coerced into attending a Sugar Baby party in the Hollywood Hills. Her two gold-digger friends and roommates, Mark an Cleo have reaped the benefits of such arrangements for years while Felicity struggles to make ends meet. At the party she makes the best of her night by finding the mansion's music room and playing the grand piano.
Hollywood producer, director and writer, heir to a fortune and Hollywood royalty Theodore J. Darcy, Theo hears Felicity play and is mesmerized. He has come to break up the party annoyed with his brother for opening up his home to gold diggers.
Theo is intrigued by the young musical genius despite meeting her at such a party. He pursues her relentlessly and they agree to no-questions-asked sex. Felicity is swept off her feet in a blockbuster romance and sex-scapades with the larger-than life and infamous Theo. But she does not want a long-term relationship, more on why to unfold, and so she sets a cap on their time together.
While they are both consumed by their intense attraction, sexual needs and chemistry the inevitably deadline, is creeping in. Like any good movie their picture-perfect arrangement must have an end, but not before the culmination and climax produces secrets, lies, deceit, heartbreak and more
I'm still pining after Theodore J. Darcy, Theo. In fact I am creating a new alpha hero shelf for him. He is the in-control EASY-GOING alpha. Never for a second did I doubt his imposing presence and commanding ways, but his laid-back personality lets Felicity have free reigns. That said as he was falling I sensed his need to not so much possess her but to make her his.
"Sometimes it felt like he was taking out his frustration with me on my body, while other times when he was gentle with me
it felt like he was asking me why."
Felicity Harper is another strong heroine courtesy J.J. McAvoy and kudos for creating another such unique heroine. As strong as swoon-worthy as Theo was, Felicity always held her own and in many ways she controlled the development of their relationship or rather her stubbornness and fears did - until Theo took charge.
"So I do what I do best and try to run. But he's a runner so he so he always catches up to me."
Sugar Baby Beautiful with its thought-provoking plot is every bit the rollercoaster romance the setting calls for, all the way through the shocking second/third act and Hollywood ending. Lights - Camera -Action!
Spellbinding plot! Effortless story telling! Soul-searching passion! Larger-than-life, easy-going alpha hero! Captivating, I-want-to-be-her heroine! 6-stars shelf.

When twenty-four-year-old Felicity Harper is dragged to a sugar party, an event where wealthy men and women seek “companionship,” she never expects this one simple decision to drastically change her whole life.
Her past is nothing but broken dreams and heartache. Her present is detached and dull. And her future? Well, before meeting Theodore Darcy, the famed film director, writer, producer and CEO of Darcy Entertainment, she would have expected more of the same. Love is just a fantasy and she wants no part of it – even if she can’t deny the undeniable attraction between the two of them.
So their arrangement is simple: sex with no strings attached.
But as their intimacy becomes more powerful, so do Felicity’s demons. Can Theo really shoulder her past and his own? And could Felicity even let him?
